Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in privacy or regulatory compliance, with either a Bachelor’s degree and one or more of the following certifications: CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, or other related certifications, or a J.D. Alternatively, 3 to 6 years of related work experience in a highly regulated field such as healthcare or fintech is required.
The Privacy Program Manager will help develop and execute a comprehensive privacy and AI governance strategy, assist in the organization’s response to privacy-related incidents and regulatory inquiries, work cross-functionally with the business to identify and evaluate privacy risks, educate on ethical AI use and privacy awareness, maintain privacy-related notices and policies, identify and evaluate the company’s use of protected health information (PHI) for HIPAA compliance, assist in managing data subject rights requests, communicate appropriate data usage, operationalize privacy-by-design and AI ethics principles, stay updated on regulations, and prepare reporting and metrics.
