Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, medical or related field
  • Minimum 6 years’ business experience with Diploma in related field (higher education preferable)
  • Experience in Orthopaedic field
  • Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations
  • Preferred: Experience in Joint Replacement
  • Willingness to travel 90%

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and developing relationships with current and potential customers and maintaining continuity
  • Identifying the right contacts and initiating connections
  • Building reliable projections/forecasts
  • Tracking trends, competitors, product developments, and legal regulations in area of responsibility and reporting to manager
  • Proactively offering solutions to customers
  • Planning, implementing, and reporting customer/partner visits and demos in accordance with business targets and customer demands
  • Evaluating requests for proposals from customers/partners and preparing complete list of materials according to customer needs
  • Translating strategy into an action plan autonomously, knowing daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and understanding integration with sub-function
  • Informing customers about purchasing methods (tender, intermediate purchase, leasing, external purchase etc.) and cooperating with tender department on projects
  • Keeping track of material delivery dates and informing customers
  • Carrying out delivery and installation of materials, providing post-sales user training
  • Bringing customer bills to accrual stage and following up collections with Finance and Accounting to ensure due date payments
  • Communicating customer feedback/complaints to Quality Management Representative and Manager, evaluating feedbacks, taking actions, and reporting
  • Preparing Congress/Demo materials, using them appropriately, and delivering to storehouse in sterilized, non-damaged condition
  • Communicating scientific support requests & plans to marketing department and supporting the process
  • Providing support to logistics team when needed
  • Using data and financial measures to anticipate problems and make decisions
  • Searching regularly for business opportunities across different product lines
