Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical program management, especially with production systems and networking infrastructure
  • Proven experience with managing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems, supporting software development and test through simulation
  • Experience with system BOM development and standardizations
  • Experience with on-prem datacenter footprint capacity planning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to connect high-level architecture to on-the-ground execution details
  • Familiarity with project tracking and status reporting tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Passionate about AV technology and its impact on the world
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or 15+ years of an equivalent technical experience in complex technical systems, demonstrating a strong track record

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Technical Leads of customer engineering teams to turn their technical specs into achievable implementation roadmaps, including planning milestones and identifying cross-team dependencies including RACI framework integrations
  • Drive the formulation and review of department roadmaps and objectives on a quarterly and monthly cadence
  • Work with Engineering Managers to ensure teams take on a balanced assignment of critical initiatives, iterative improvements, and proactive engineering excellence investments; support calculation of team capacity vs estimated workload, and ensure teams can deliver on their commitments
  • Define and track KPIs, program metrics, and validation milestones to ensure timely delivery of engineering achievements
  • Work with Technical Leads on design decisions, and contribute to the department design reviews to ensure we continue to raise our technical standards
  • Ensure smooth execution of programs and continuously improve execution over time
  • Proactively identify risks and blockers across software and operations—and drive mitigation plans in real time
  • Lead program reviews with technical and executive stakeholders across AI Developer Experience teams
  • Establish confidence from partner teams to continuously minimize distractions or conflicts and push groups to improve their output
