Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) orchestrating the design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, secure, Cloud-ready enterprise Web applications within the financial services sector
  • Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) orchestrating the design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, secure, Cloud-ready enterprise Web applications within the financial services sector
  • Demonstrated Expertise analyzing the integration of content management using SDL Tridion and SOAP/REST Web services
  • Demonstrated Expertise analyzing Web services request and response schema structure, and Microservices API design, using Swagger or Swagger Hub
  • Demonstrated Expertise leading the design and development of Digital applications using Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated Expertise designing and developing customer facing enterprise Web applications using Java and J2EE server-side technologies (Spring, Spring-Boot, Struts, Servlets, JSP, and JSTL), microservices architecture, Web security technologies (OAuth and SAML), Apache Camel, and SOAP/RESTful Web services
  • Performs technical analysis of sophisticated Web application development concepts, using Spring MVC, Spring Core, XML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Performs systems analysis with Hava and Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Leads and conducts interviews with business users to gather requirements and analyzes technology needs and system and workflow challenges
  • Develops Application Programming Interface (API) definitions and service call strategies to execute business logic
  • Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems analysis projects and defines project scope, leads analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning
  • Leads other analysts in the execution of documents on large and complex projects and monitors the quality and progress of documents created by other analysts
  • Leads and participates in the definition of test strategies, and coordinates user acceptance testing efforts
  • Communicates progress of multiple projects to management, engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively navigates the organization to accomplish tasks and works on multiple features simultaneously when needed
  • Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices for systems analysis processes
  • Participates in incident and crisis management to assess business impact, determine and facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the production support organization
  • Coaches and mentors junior product analysts and developers on systems analysis techniques and business workflows
  • Assesses design recommendations made by other analysts
  • Verifies that objectives, requirements, use cases and specifications remain current
  • Responsible for meeting on-time and on-budget project goals
  • Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects
  • Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues
  • Designs new systems based on requirements
  • Provides analysis on complex systems analysis projects, often across subsystems and companies, in a matrix organization
  • Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies
  • Consults with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities
