Requirements

Candidates must possess 10+ years of software development experience, with a specialization in Java and microservices architecture. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required. Strong knowledge of microservices principles, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), service orchestration, Java frameworks like Spring Boot, RESTful API design, cloud platforms such as AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and both SQL and NoSQL databases is essential. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Principal Software Engineer will design and implement microservices architectures to enhance scalability and reliability, collaborate with development teams on Java and microservices best practices, and optimize existing systems through analysis and refactoring. This role involves providing technical guidance and mentorship, evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, developing architectural documentation, ensuring adherence to security and performance standards, and participating in code and design reviews.
