Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active Secret clearance (Security or higher)
  • Hands-on proficiency across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization (VMware ESX), Kubernetes, and related infrastructure platforms
  • Mastery across all supported platforms, infrastructure, and technologies
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and proven track record in mission-critical environments
  • Ability to work hybrid (remote/telework with on-site at customer locations in Oklahoma, Dallas, or Houston, TX)
  • Flexible to work evenings/weekends at customer site when needed
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to Montgomery, AL or Oklahoma

Responsibilities

  • Serve as top-tier escalation point for complex technical issues in HPE Private Cloud after level 3 support
  • Lead in-depth troubleshooting across multi-cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure platforms
  • Collaborate with BU engineering teams and managed services to resolve systemic issues, develop critical patches, and enhance products
  • Analyze, identify, and architect solutions for recurring or complex customer issues, ensuring permanent resolution and knowledge transfer
  • Demonstrate mastery as subject matter expert for internal teams and federal customers
  • Develop and review automated solutions using DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Lead compliance efforts for DISA STIGs and federal standards, ensuring audit readiness and system hardening
  • Mentor and guide technical support engineers, sharing expertise and best practices
  • Work closely with federal customer stakeholders to understand needs, translate requirements, and deliver solutions (customer-facing role)
  • Engage with product management, engineering, and BU teams to influence and prioritize fixes, enhancements, and updates
  • Define, refine, and improve operational processes and technical documentation
