Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic impact by shaping research strategy for entire B2B and B2C portfolios, translating insights into business outcomes to influence C-level executives and accelerate investment/portfolio decisions
  • Pioneer best-in-class mixed-methods research, selecting rigorous methodologies for strategic and product questions, and establishing them as organizational standards
  • Build institutional knowledge through a programmatic, systems-based approach to UXR that ensures cumulative learning across the organization
  • Lead operational excellence by creating innovative efficiencies, building research platforms, and integrating them with major business processes to improve research ROI
  • Align teams and vision by synthesizing insights into conceptual frameworks that connect micro-level user behavior to macro-level industry trends and long-term product vision
  • Develop next-generation research leaders through active mentorship, sponsorship, and design of career frameworks and leadership development programs
  • Establish research as a primary strategic partner, influencing roadmap planning and investment decisions organization-wide
  • Create programs that open new markets, identify paradigm shifts in user behavior, and build external visibility for Dow Jones's research excellence
