Responsibilities

  • Own the full spectrum of developer experience at Life360
  • Build the Internal Platform: APIs, tools, services, and infrastructure to enable Life360's product teams to ship features faster, more reliably, and at scale
  • Build the External Platform: developer program, partnership framework, and integration capabilities for third-party developers and strategic partners to build on Life360's location intelligence, family coordination, and safety platform
  • Bridge internal engineering teams with external developer ecosystem to empower engineers and extend impact
  • Balance immediate internal needs with long-term external ecosystem vision
  • Navigate tradeoffs such as openness vs. security, flexibility vs. governance, and innovation velocity vs. API stability
