Requirements

Systems thinker who has built and/or scaled onboarding, activation, or PLG funnels
AI native - brings best practices on increasing leverage, velocity, and learning using AI systems deeply and pervasively
Comfortable with experimentation, conversion optimization, and defining success metrics
Effective influencer across product, design, engineering, GTM, and leadership teams
Data-informed decision-maker, fluent in funnel and data analysis
Proactive leader who operates with ownership and clarity in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
7+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS
Proven ownership of growth, onboarding, or activation funnels with measurable outcomes
Hands-on operator who can define a strategy, validate hypotheses, and move fast to deliver results
Demonstrated ability to drive impact through prioritization and structured thinking, especially in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
Deep comfort with product metrics, funnel analysis, and experimentation (SQL a plus)
Collaborative and clear communicator who builds strong cross-functional partnerships
Experience launching or optimizing AI-powered features (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead strategy and roadmap for brightwheel’s activation & expansion product team, spanning onboarding, activation, and attach
Define the end-to-end onboarding and growth experience for schools, leveraging AI and product-led growth (PLG) principles to accelerate time-to-value
Influence and sell vision to execs and c-suite
Communicate strategy, learning, and progress clearly with leadership and cross-functional partners to inform roadmap decisions
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, AI, data, and GTM to build and iterate on in-app onboarding and contextual upsell experiences
Identify and remove friction across the activation and attach funnels, using data and customer feedback to prioritize high-impact improvements
Design, run, and analyze experiments to test hypotheses, improve conversion, and impact critical metrics
Define and report on success metrics (e.g., activation %, attach %, time-to-value, % of schools self-serve onboarding) and share progress across teams
Drive durable alignment and execution across PDE, GTM, and AI teams, ensuring shared goals, feedback loops, and delivery against measurable outcomes
