Requirements

  • 8+ years of product design experience with at least 3 years in senior or principal-level roles
  • Fluency with AI-native workflows: prompt design, evaluation, and chaining; agents/tools; RAG; model/runtime constraints (latency, token/cost budgets)
  • Hands-on prototyping with real data (e.g., connecting prototypes to APIs/SDKs, lightweight code, or no/low-code tools) to validate feasibility and UX
  • Strong user research skills: plan and run studies, synthesize qualitative & quantitative signals into clear insights and direction
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex, data-heavy or AI-powered experiences, including trust/safety and human-in-the-loop patterns
  • Excellent collaboration & communication: proactive

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive design strategy, ensuring cohesive user experiences from data ingestion through the entire customer journey with our platform
  • Partner closely with product managers and engineering leads to balance technical constraints with optimal user experiences
  • Lead design thinking sessions and facilitate cross-functional workshops
  • Manage and mentor design team members, providing guidance on their careers and design skills
  • Create seamless experiences for both technical users and business stakeholders
  • Develop sophisticated information architecture for large-scale data exploration and analysis tools
  • Conduct user research with data professionals to understand pain points in existing workflows
  • Present design concepts and rationale to executive leadership and external stakeholders
  • Be accountable for end-to-end design within high-impact product areas, from concept to final implementation
  • Partner with PMs to craft systematic solutions that connect the dots between user needs, data, business goals, and business strategy
  • Partner with engineers to build impactful products and features within the constraints of our technology and timelines
