Familiarity with instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations, and overall platform technical health is crucial. Experience interfacing with customer executives, platform owners, enterprise architects, and development teams is expected.
The Principal Platform Architect will guide customers through their digital transformation journey by leading solutioning and scoping discussions and driving the successful delivery of strategic projects. They will provide thought leadership, best practices, and expert guidance to ensure customers achieve long-term value from the ServiceNow platform. This role involves engaging with senior stakeholders to align business objectives with technology solutions and scaling ServiceNow expertise across internal and external teams. The architect will establish strong governance frameworks, reduce technical debt, and enable scalable solutions to optimize platform strategy, maintaining agility and long-term sustainability. Responsibilities include acting as an expert across assigned contracts, providing architectural guidance, technical governance, and best practices for large, strategic accounts. They will build strong relationships with customer technical and business leaders, collaborate with GTM, Delivery, and joint teams, and contribute leading practices, standards, and thought leadership related to the ServiceNow platform. The architect will also provide input to the ServiceNow product strategy team to influence the product roadmap. Specific duties involve helping customers establish a solid technical foundation on the ServiceNow platform, designing solutions for business outcomes, ensuring adoption of leading practices for instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations, and platform health, and guiding teams to deliver solutions based on the designed technical architecture. The role requires interfacing with customer executives, platform owners, enterprise architects, and development teams by structuring and implementing solutions.
