Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and 8-10 years of full-time on-the-job experience in software product performance, preferably for a software product company. Strong expertise in Linux Shell Scripting and computer system monitoring is required, along with proficiency in application programming and computer systems. Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, and Python is also necessary, alongside familiarity with modern computing concepts like Cloud, Containerization, and micro-services.
Responsibilities
The Principal Performance Engineer will collaborate with the Manager/Director of Product Performance Engineering and other team members to understand and evaluate the performance of Protegrity products, develop and enhance performance evaluation scopes, execute tests, and troubleshoot performance issues. They will provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, engage with customers to understand and resolve performance issues, stay current with industry best practices, and work in a fast-paced environment to ensure product performance meets the highest standards.
