Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or FMP (Facility Management Professional) is an advantage
  • 5 to 10 years working experience in facilities related field in semiconductor, electronic, or related industries
  • Demonstrated competency in leadership, management, and HVAC technical knowledge
  • Design knowledge in HVAC and cleanroom preferred
  • Hands-on experience in predictive and preventive maintenance
  • Knowledge and application of Psychometric principles essential
  • Exposure and experience in RODI/WWTP system

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and take ownership of the overall operational health of HVAC and Mechanical systems
  • Maintain and operate HVAC systems, associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and perform equipment repairs
  • Manage capacity and design changes according to manufacturing/customer requirements
  • Conduct and execute facility system improvements for reliability hardening, safety performance, cost optimization, and reduction
  • Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations
  • Monitor and supervise HVAC preventive maintenance outsource service contracts
  • Maintain compliance with local city/state government requirements, country legal legislation, ordinances, and codes of practice
  • Liaise with relevant local government agencies and contractors
  • Engage and liaise with consultants on mechanical system design and construction
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Comply with all safety procedures, practices, and requirements
  • Support afterhours building needs and activities as required
  • Attend training sessions, seminars, and other assigned tasks
  • Establish operation procedures, system monitoring, and repair maintenance for responsible sections
  • Review and analyze operating data to optimize Facilities operating systems
  • Support production/manufacturing needs and requests
  • Team up with facilities peers and contractors in troubleshooting Facilities systems
  • Identify and drive cost-saving and improvement programs
  • Supervise contractor engineers and technicians to ensure HVAC and Mechanical systems support production in compliance with specifications and government regulations
  • Plan, organize, execute, and control specific projects
  • Ensure compliance with IMS requirements, Contamination Control, 5S, and Safety
  • Liaise with contractors and consultants on facilities-related matters
  • Coordinate major planned shutdown maintenance
  • Carry out special tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Support company needs and activities
