Expertise in operational engineering for large capital projects
Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, risk identification, and mitigation
Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk assessment
Experience with innovation, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Pareto, FMEA, DOE, 8D, 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis)
Skills in stakeholder engagement and communication, including with non-technical audiences
Familiarity with manufacturing investigations, CAPAs, Change Controls, Deviations (e.g., Trackwise Quality System)
Ability to analyze manufacturing performance data and drive KPIs (e.g., Safety, Quality, Schedule adherence, OEE, team training)
Expertise in validation activities, including facility/equipment validation, URS development/review, and equipment vendor FATs
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements

Responsibilities

Promote safety mindset: assess risks, ensure compliance, foster communication, provide training
Lead and mentor engineering team, represent operational engineering in large capital projects
Develop and maintain technical standards, best practices, and procedures
Oversee project planning, execution, delivery, scope definition, progress monitoring, and risk mitigation
Drive innovation, explore new technologies, implement continuous improvement initiatives
Build relationships with stakeholders, communicate technical concepts clearly, represent company at events
Lead operational engineering in large capital projects, integrate operational requirements, support commissioning/operations
Perform troubleshooting, lead manufacturing investigations, CAPAs, Change Controls, own Deviations
Collate/analyze manufacturing data, act as System Owner to drive improvements and KPIs
Assist/lead validation activities, execute continuous improvement in aseptic filling areas, develop/review URS, coordinate vendor FATs
