Requirements

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline and 13+ years of work experience. Strong proficiency in building robust back-end applications using Spring Boot is required, alongside experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. A solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, is also necessary, as is hands-on expertise with Kafka Confluent for event streaming.

Responsibilities

The Principal Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Microservices, partnering with product owners and stakeholders to ascertain product requirements, applying SOLID design principles, and practicing good engineering methodologies within an Agile framework. They will also engage in continuous learning, ensure product quality through testing, create and maintain data model designs, and document processes, designs, and product capabilities. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting complex problems, optimizing microservices for performance and security, and utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
