Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of AWS RDS for multiple database platforms, ensuring optimal configuration, performance, and resilience in cloud environments
Develop and execute comprehensive HA and DR strategies, including failover mechanisms, replication, and backup/recovery processes, to minimize downtime and data loss
Leverage advanced Azure and AWS expertise to design cloud-native database architectures that integrate seamlessly with broader infrastructure and business needs
Provide principal-level guidance on performance troubleshooting and optimization for MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases, resolving complex issues with strategic insight
Oversee the administration and optimization of Windows and Linux server environments hosting database systems, ensuring stability and security
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data architecture standards, policies, and best practices that drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation
Mentor and guide technical teams on database design, cloud adoption, and system administration, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
