Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of industrial experience in data science, holding an MS or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Strong expertise in machine learning, statistics, and experimentation is required, along with proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with source control management tools.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Data Scientist, you will collaborate with business, product, and engineering partners to envision and deliver data science solutions for practical business problems, deeply understanding users, products, and data to identify opportunities for creating machine learning, optimization, and causal inference solutions. You will build data-driven, robust, and replicable models, use experimentation and causal inference to measure impact, serve as a tech lead on the Delivery Technology DS team, and provide mentorship to junior data scientists. Additionally, you will translate ambiguous business problems into technical objectives and provide concrete data science solutions, and serve as a subject matter expert in delivery technology.
