Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reside within the territory and ability to drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
  • High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 11 years of work experience in the healthcare, engineering or medical field
  • OR Associate’s Degree AND a minimum of 9 years of work experience in the healthcare, engineering or medical field
  • OR Bachelor’s degree AND a minimum of 7 years of work experience in the healthcare, engineering or medical field
  • Mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
  • Broad knowledge of project management (preferred)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job to perform essential functions

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting AF Solutions sales and customer service objectives
  • Deliver and/or manage projects assigned and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results
  • Act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower level professionals
  • Oversee projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills
  • Manage large projects or processes with considerable latitude in determining deliverables and limited oversight
  • Coach, review and delegate work to lower level specialists
  • Contribute to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy
  • Develop solutions to moderately complex problems and make moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems or products independently
  • Implement solutions to problems
  • Represent the organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicate with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels
  • Negotiate with others to reach understanding or agreement and influence decision-making
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area
  • Manage major/moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader
