Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, be board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and hold current, unrestricted licenses to practice medicine in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. A minimum of three years of post-residency work experience is required, along with preferred experience in behavioral health. An Indiana Medical License (IMLC) is also preferred.
The Primary Care Physician will provide on-demand acute care and scheduled primary care services through chat and video-based platforms, educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans, manage patient follow-ups for chronic care programs, co-manage patients with external partners, prescribe medication and refills, drive high-quality care with a focus on patient outcomes, elevate remote care by providing compassionate patient care, collaborate with clinical team members to build clinical guidelines and policies, and represent K Health and its partners professionally. They will also adhere to company policies and procedures, federal and state regulations, and display dedication to achieving assigned goals and objectives.
