Responsibilities

  • Architect solutions achieving customer business outcomes within specific technical domains or across company portfolio and third-party components
  • Develop and articulate compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals ensuring customer business and technical requirements are met
  • Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers through sales presentations, product/solution demonstrations, etc., to gain customer mindshare
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in solution domains, company offerings, and customer environment
  • Develop compelling customer proposals, critically review them, manage expectations of internal stakeholders and customers
  • Quantify business problem impacts, position business value, identify solution strengths/weaknesses to achieve long-term objectives
  • Provide input to global business units on IT trends, requirements, gaps, or unmet needs
  • Translate outcome-based solutions into functional solution designs aligning to customer business needs, then into scalable technical designs/architectures
  • Communicate how solution value propositions address customer business needs
  • Track leading-edge and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to industry development for one or more domains through conferences (content support/presentations, demos, booth support) and industry events, while monitoring social media
  • Incorporate understanding of technology trends within IT and customer industries
  • Actively gather and apply competitive intelligence for account support
  • Drive the Account Business Planning process leveraging industry trends and customer technical environment
  • Participate in deep-dive discussions and partner with account team to build customer relationships by advocating and presenting technical strategies for transformation
