Requirements
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience (5-axis experience preferred)
- Certificate, diploma, or associate degree in Precision Machining, CNC Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection techniques
- Proficiency with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, or similar controls/equipment
- Experience machining hard or exotic metals (a plus)
- A passion for craftsmanship, precision, and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment including mills, lathes (3-, 4-, and 5-axis), EDM’s, and fully automated integrated cells
- Produce precision components according to specifications and drawings
- Participate in the selection of tools, speeds, and feeds for exotic materials
- Verify part conformance using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMMs)
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections, complete quality documentation
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Support continuous improvement and share your craft knowledge with others
