Requirements

1 year of experience in communications, entertainment, politics, public relations, etc. (internships count)
Eager and open to learning all aspects of integrated communications (media relations, social media, creative, brand integration, talent integration)
Strong writer – persuasive, concise, creative, and quick
Eager to network and build connections in the media industry
Strategic thinker who brings new ideas and loves brainstorming
Strong decision-making abilities and accountability
Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
Incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willing to work select evenings/weekends
Curious, eager, open to trying new things, emotionally mature, collaborative, inclusive, clear communicator, professional, and courteous

Responsibilities

Willingness and interest to learn the ins and outs of integrated communications (talent/influencer integration, media relations, social media, creative, and brand integration)
Creating and maintaining media lists
Scheduling and providing logistical support for client meetings and events
Supporting client account teams as needed
Monitoring news cycles and flagging latest “pop culture moments” and competitor news for clients
Communicating effectively with senior staff on status of requested tasks and projects
Occasionally attending and supporting the execution of client events
Supporting administration of accounts including developing agendas, meeting recaps, activity reports, client status reports, budget trackers, etc
Light office duties such as maintaining conference rooms and kitchen, setting up/breaking down luncheons, preparing rooms for guests, greeting guests and vendors, and escorting them to meeting areas
