Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Analog/PMU design utilizing advanced CMOS technology nodes, with SOI technology experience being a plus. Experience as a Design Lead for Power Management ICs is required, and the role is open to candidates with extensive experience designing PMU building blocks and aspirations for a Design Lead position. A detailed understanding of various analog design building blocks, including LDOs, Bandgap references, DC-DC converters, ADC/DAC architectures, OPAMPS, Comparators, Analog Filters, Variable Gain Amplifiers, XTAL Oscillators, Ring Oscillators, and experience with QFN & CSP packaging effects is essential. Experience with development tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, MATLAB, and Verilog modeling is also required.
The Power Management IC Design Lead will be responsible for the design and leadership of the Power Management IC deliverable for various communication systems, including LTE, GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee. This includes designing Analog/Power Management building blocks and PMU top-level designs (layout, digital, RFIC, and system), conducting silicon characterization and debug, and providing system specifications to translate into circuit requirements at the IC level. The role also involves monitoring and interpreting changes in employment legislation, developing HR policies to ensure compliance, conducting audits, delivering training, and advising management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, as well as utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills, and presenting effectively.
