Requirements

  • 3+ years in fund administration, public accounting, or PE/VC operations with SPV exposure
  • 2+ years reviewing work and/or supervising others
  • Deep understanding of the SPV lifecycle: formation

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary reviewer for financial statements, reconciliations, tax filings, regulatory reports, and investor notices
  • Own complex/edge cases end-to-end, including exits, waterfalls, restructurings, multi-entity flows, and cross-jurisdiction issues
  • Oversee distribution events: requirements, approvals, investor calculations, banking/treasury coordination, and post-distribution reconciliations
  • Run strategic client interactions (planning/status/escalations), manage expectations, and translate requirements into clear execution plans
  • Maintain and publish the SPV calendar (filings, FATCA/CRS, audits); forecast capacity and proactively de-risk deadlines
  • Coach, mentor, and upskill associates; contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training content; provide clear review feedback
  • Track and report KPIs; perform root-cause analysis on defects and drive corrective actions that improve speed, accuracy, and scalability
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Fund Admin, Treasury/Banking, and Accounting to manage dependencies and resolve issues
