Requirements
Candidates should possess at least one year of experience and training as a bench jeweler, demonstrating deep knowledge of jewelry materials including gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals. They must be highly organized with a focus on execution and a strong attention to detail, along with exceptional time management skills and accountability. Furthermore, candidates should be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills, both in-person and virtually, and an interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products. B1 level English Proficiency is also required.
Responsibilities
The Polisher/Jeweler will execute physical construction of fine jewelry products, including soldering, filing, and assembling rings, setting side and center stones, and performing full polishing processes for complex precious-metal jewelry pieces with diamonds and gemstones. They will also execute quality assurance best practices to ensure products meet Brilliant Earth’s high-quality standards, meet daily processing timelines and quotas, communicate and work cross-functionally with other teams, providing updates on status, issues, and concerns, maintain the workspace in a clean, organized, and efficient manner, and adhere to product security and safety protocol and procedures.
