Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of five years’ experience in audit or financial advisory services
Prior experience in a project management role within a professional services or consulting environment
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in complex environments
Proven ability to successfully lead projects to completion within scope, timeline, and budget
Preferred: Active CPA license (or equivalent, e.g., Chartered Accountant) and/or Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP)
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.)
Knowledge of capital markets transactions and public company requirements, compliance, and operations
Familiarity with financial systems and ERP technologies (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

Advise clients on best practices for planning and executing capital markets and finance transformation projects
Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project plans for complex transactions and client initiatives
Lead discussions with client stakeholders across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and progress toward deliverables
Oversee the preparation of executive reporting materials and status updates for senior leadership
Advise and assist clients on the stand-up, structure, and delivery of a project management office (PMO)
Identify and address project risks, issues, and scope changes, escalating as needed to leadership
Lead and mentor junior team members within the PMO and in your home market
Foster trusted relationships with stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and business partner
Maintain a professional and positive attitude in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Coordinate CFGI services across projects including IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, finance organization transformations, and technology implementations
Oversee technical accounting, SEC reporting, internal controls, finance transformation, and cybersecurity efforts
Work closely with CFGI partners and client leaders to develop and execute project plans and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
