They should also have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, along with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
The Plumbing Install Technician will be responsible for performing plumbing repairs and replacements to code, checking slopes for conformance, connecting pipe pieces, installing sanitary and storm water sewer structures, and operating various tools and equipment such as trenching tools and mechanized vehicles. They will also be responsible for laying out pipe routes, aligning pipes, digging trenches, and locating existing pipes needing repair or replacement.
