Candidates require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, along with over 5 years of experience in IT deployments or end-user/customer environments. Expertise and certifications in cloud platforms are essential, as is knowledge of cloud security best practices, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, scripting (Bash, PowerShell), and infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform). Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and its modules (CWP, CSPM, ASPM, SSPM) is also required, along with familiarity with native and third-party software deployment technologies. The ability to travel up to 25% is necessary.
The Senior Platform Professional Services Consultant will be responsible for planning, deploying, and operationally supporting the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and related applications. This includes providing technical expertise for implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as modifying scripts for deployment using Bash, PowerShell, CloudFormation, and Terraform. The role involves troubleshooting customer deployment issues, developing scripts and processes for Falcon sensor deployment, planning and reporting software deployment status, and collaborating closely with customer IT teams. Additionally, the consultant will mentor the Platform Professional Services team, conduct training sessions on cloud platform best practices, assist customers with vulnerability and asset management using CrowdStrike applications, and support Incident Response and Compromise Assessment teams. They will also lead educational series for the Falcon Cloud Security platform and related applications, and facilitate relationships between product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Specific project examples include guiding customers on deploying Falcon agents to ECS Fargate or Google Cloud Run, deploying Falcon Helm charts or Operators to Kubernetes clusters, and integrating Falcon (CSPM) with AWS, GCP, or Azure tenants.
