Experience as a Plant Controller/Administrative Manager
On-site position located at the Plant in Jackson, TN (with potential hybrid consideration; ideal candidate within reasonable, commutable driving distance)

Responsibilities

Perform all accounting related activities, including maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations
Prepare analyses and reports on production performance, payroll, inventory, month-end closing, etc
Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
Support processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger (e.g., review and approve manual journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements), fixed assets, treasury, and tax/trade compliance including variance analysis
Prepare, consolidate, and reconcile financial reports for month-end closing; direct, analyze, and verify month-end closing entries as well as profit and loss statements
Create or modify programs and reports to improve efficiency of various administrative tasks; implement new procedures as required by corporate or division staff
Create or modify various reports and databases as needed for management of the business; provide detailed financial data to plant and division personnel as requested
Analyze and report plant operational performance; utilize data to monitor and report performance by machine, by department, or by shift
Build and maintain productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction; provide direction, training, and development as needed; provide coaching, counseling, or discipline as needed; work with HR to address employee concerns and issues
Maintain internal controls over all areas of the business
