Requirements

  • Experience as a Plant Controller/Administrative Manager
  • On-site position located at the Plant in Jackson, TN (with potential hybrid consideration; ideal candidate within reasonable, commutable driving distance)

Responsibilities

  • Perform all accounting related activities, including maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations
  • Prepare analyses and reports on production performance, payroll, inventory, month-end closing, etc
  • Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
  • Support processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger (e.g., review and approve manual journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements), fixed assets, treasury, and tax/trade compliance including variance analysis
  • Prepare, consolidate, and reconcile financial reports for month-end closing; direct, analyze, and verify month-end closing entries as well as profit and loss statements
  • Create or modify programs and reports to improve efficiency of various administrative tasks; implement new procedures as required by corporate or division staff
  • Create or modify various reports and databases as needed for management of the business; provide detailed financial data to plant and division personnel as requested
  • Analyze and report plant operational performance; utilize data to monitor and report performance by machine, by department, or by shift
  • Build and maintain productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction; provide direction, training, and development as needed; provide coaching, counseling, or discipline as needed; work with HR to address employee concerns and issues
  • Maintain internal controls over all areas of the business
