Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in planning or buyer functions within a supply chain or logistics environment
OR Equivalent to 6+ years of relevant experience in buying or supply chain roles, including direct engagement with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
Proven ability to work with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolution of material priorities
Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and convey requirements effectively
Solid understanding of supply chain principles, including demand and supply forecasting, inventory control, and lot restrictions

Responsibilities

Purchase Order Lifecycle Management: Create and maintain purchase orders daily, ensuring accuracy and timely execution throughout their lifecycle
Inventory Management: Analyze demand data to support short- and long-term purchasing decisions, maintaining optimal inventory levels and continuity of supply
Supplier Management: Cultivate strong vendor relationships and promote the attributes of preferred suppliers to enhance performance and reliability
Material Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve inventory challenges such as shortages or excess, using data-driven problem-solving and implementing effective countermeasures
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to ensure material continuity, drive process improvements, and lead initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience
