Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate degree in Science or Applied Science, recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association, and possess current certification or state-required licensure. A valid and up-to-date BLS CPR certification is also required.
As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will implement personalized care plans designed to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life by providing therapeutic exercises, functional training, and patient education in the comfort of the patient’s home, while working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and building strong relationships with patients to foster trust and facilitate their journey toward independence and well-being.
