Requirements

  • Holds an active/valid national certification certificate issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT). Must obtain a national certification within the first 12 months of employment if not currently certified
  • 1 year experience in a pharmacy environment (Central fill, specialty, retail, mail order) OR 1 year experience training other associates/employees
  • Available to work 1st shift between 6am to 4pm, full-time (4 days a week with 10-hour shifts), schedule based on production needs and available throughout the week
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in coaching and training in a call center environment
  • Experience facilitating/training in a group setting
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing training software and tools

Responsibilities

  • Provides support for associate training in Pharmacy and Health and Wellness areas by coordinating and facilitating certification courses (e.g., Pharmacy Technician University); coordinating Computer Based Learning courses; preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring reports, logs, and forms (e.g., training participation, process reports, compliance adherence, standard operating procedure documentation)
  • Trains associates in pharmacy and health and Wellness areas by providing instruction on the proper preparation, operation, and troubleshooting of machinery; distributing training materials; providing feedback and responding to questions on equipment operation; following up with associates to ensure completion of training
  • Develops training programs and materials in Pharmacy and Health and Wellness areas by conducting training needs analysis; identifying and developing training content and materials; adapting existing training content and materials; evaluating training effectiveness
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues
  • Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support
