Complete a rigorous company training program
Satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
Comply with CVS policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with controlled substance dispensing and record-keeping
Remain flexible for both scheduling and business needs, including voluntarily traveling to stores in the market as needed

Responsibilities

Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers as the first point of contact to deliver an exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (e.g., production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, genuine care, creating personalized moments, offering immunizations and services, and solving or escalating patient problems
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law and directed by pharmacy leadership (e.g., putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories)
Contribute to a high-performing team by embracing a growth mindset, being receptive to feedback, and seeking opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge
Demonstrate genuine care in all customer and colleague interactions and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture
