Complete a rigorous company training program
Satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation
Demonstrate genuine care, empathy, and compassionate service in all customer and colleague interactions
Embrace a growth mindset, be receptive to feedback, and actively seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including voluntarily traveling to stores in the market as needed
Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, ethical principles, CVS policies, and procedures (including patient safety and controlled substance dispensing)

Responsibilities

Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist as the first point of contact for patients and customers to provide an exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (e.g., production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, creating personalized moments, offering immunizations and services, and solving or escalating patient problems
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law and directed by pharmacy leadership (e.g., putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories)
Contribute to a high-performing, safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
