Requirements

  • Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
  • Satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to your State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines

  • Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, including full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • In select markets, comply with collective bargaining agreement rules regarding Pharmacy Technician
  • Based on role and location, may require full vaccination against COVID-19 (including booster shots if required), where allowable

Responsibilities

  • Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
  • Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
  • Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct
  • Advise patients on their prescriptions and help manage their chronic and specialty conditions (as part of team support)
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, delivering compassionate care to patients daily
