Requirements

Build upon skills and responsibilities of Pharmacy Technician/Inventory Specialist
Act as role model, mentor, and guide to pharmacy team
Support Pharmacy Manager and all Pharmacists
Adhere to and champion safe and effective pharmacy operations, including all company SOPs
Demonstrate genuine care, empathy, and compassionate service in all patient and colleague interactions
Maintain high self-awareness for in-the-moment coaching, training, and mentoring
Follow and coach pharmacy workflow and procedures at workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off)

Responsibilities

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Champion and coach consistent application of SOPs, best practices, and effective communication
Follow pharmacy workflow and procedures at each workstation for safe prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences: show empathy, create personalized moments at pick-up/drive-thru/phone, offer immunizations/services, solve/escalate patient problems
Assist Pharmacist-on-duty with day-to-day activities and delegated administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling, Digital Workstation Assignment Board, communications, reporting)
Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, mentoring to team; share best practices; give performance feedback to Pharmacy Manager
Oversee/complete inventory activities (e.g., put away deliveries, prepare/participate in inventories, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories); mentor Inventory Specialist
