Requirements
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Ability to operate hardware such as cash registers or related equipment
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures for processing prescriptions, OTC orders, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges
- Ability to stock, secure, and organize pharmacy supplies and merchandise
- Ability to enter prescription information, file prescriptions, and complete required paperwork, forms, and documentation
- Compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
Responsibilities
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services
- Process member purchases and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types
- Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases
- Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise
- Receive and stock merchandise in the pharmacy area, organize and maintain the pharmacy area by following company procedures, utilizing equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs, and documentation
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities and deadlines; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvements; and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback
