Requirements

Lead and develop a pharmacy team providing exceptional patient care
Promote best practices and lead through change
Identify and address performance opportunities
Support novel program awareness and onboard new hires
Recognize colleagues for success
Exhibit best practices when working the bench, including team coordination, patient counseling, and compliance with legal/regulatory guidelines
Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline and cross-training
Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable), including performance management and reviews

Responsibilities

Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts, providing coaching and follow-up
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy, care, collaboration, and issue resolution
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations, supporting Technician training
Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and cold chain protection
Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists
Escalate compliance issues to Rx District Leader as needed
Ensure cross-trained colleagues complete required training for licensure
