Requirements

  • Lead and develop a pharmacy team providing exceptional patient care

  • Follow and direct adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails
  • Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and compassionate care; coach team accordingly
  • Collaborate with patient's total healthcare team and resolve insurance/medication issues
  • Proactively offer and deliver immunizations; support technicians in immunization training
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and cold chain protection
  • Conduct onboarding and training for new technicians and pharmacists on CVS workflow
  • Ensure timely completion of required training and licensure for trainees
  • Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalate issues as needed
  • Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues
  • Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable)
  • Manage performance through observation, feedback, validation, annual reviews, and gap closure
