Requirements

Lead and develop a pharmacy team providing exceptional patient care
Promote best practices and lead through change
Identify and address performance opportunities
Support novel program awareness and onboard new pharmacy team members
Recognize colleagues for success
Exhibit best practices when working the bench, including team coordination, patient counseling, and compliance with legal/regulatory guidelines
Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts with effective coaching and follow-up
Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and coach team on compassionate care, collaboration, and issue resolution
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations and support Pharmacy Technicians in learning to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory following best practices, especially cold chain protection
Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion of training/licensure
Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalate issues as needed
Partner with Store Manager to maintain talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues and ensure their training completion
Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists, manage performance via observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure

Responsibilities

Strengthen pharmacy performance measures through coaching and follow-up
Direct pharmacy team in following workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and coaching team accordingly

Ensure pharmacy operations comply with regulations
Manage performance of pharmacy team members, including annual reviews
