  • Managing pharmacy inventory, following best practices, especially for cold chain products
  • Conducting onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion of training/licensure
  • Ensuring full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalating issues as needed
  • Partnering with Store Manager to maintain a talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues and ensure their training completion
  • Overseeing Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists, managing performance through observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure

Responsibilities

  • Living the company's purpose by managing and improving patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
  • Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts and strengthening performance measures through coaching and follow-up
  • Directing the pharmacy team to follow pharmacy workflow procedures and utilize safety guardrails
  • Coaching the pharmacy team to show empathy, genuine care, and resolve patient issues proactively
  • Identifying, engaging, and supporting Pharmacy Technicians to immunize
  • Coaching the pharmacy team on inventory best practices, focusing on cold chain protection
  • Training new Technician and Pharmacist hires for the store and district
  • Maintaining pharmacy operations in full compliance with regulations
  • Partnering with Store Manager for cross-trained colleague pipeline and training
  • Managing performance of Staff Pharmacists and DPSs, including observations, feedback, annual reviews, and closing performance gaps
