Responsibilities

Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts, including coaching and follow-up to strengthen performance measures
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following and directing workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving insurance/medication issues
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations; support Pharmacy Technicians in learning to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and cold chain protection; coach team accordingly
Conduct onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion
Ensure full compliance with regulations; escalate issues to Rx DL as needed
Maintain talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues and ensure training/licensure progress
Oversee Staff Pharmacists and DPSs (where applicable), manage performance via observation, feedback, reviews, and gap closure
