Compliance with state regulations (e.g., for taking telephonic prescriptions or calling prescribers)

Responsibilities

Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to deepen knowledge of store, district, and regional operations, patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, DUR, corresponding responsibility, and red flag detection
Assist pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, and caring service exceeding patient expectations
Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures at workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, creating personalized moments, offering immunizations and services, and solving/escalating patient problems
Offer counseling, field medical questions, and solicit medical history under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and call prescribers to clarify or facilitate changes, where allowed by state regulation
Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, mentoring to team members, and share best practices
Complete basic inventory activities (e.g., putting away deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stock, waiting bin inventories) as permitted by law and directed by leadership
Operate as part of the pharmacy team through SOPs, best practices, effective communication, empathy, and contributing to a safe, inclusive culture
