Requirements

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
0-3 years prior relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead; able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions, including bending spine at the waist
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
Able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers

Responsibilities

Work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification)
Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Support Pharmacy manager in motivating, inspiring, and developing Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues’ strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps
Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in the pharmacy and lead the team to achieve specified goals
Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes
Align others around the purpose to bring heart to every moment of health and gain support and commitment
Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Apply acquired knowledge to help drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors
