Requirements

Candidates should have recently graduated from pharmacy school with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist. Prior pharmacy experience is not required, but a strong academic foundation in pharmacy principles and practices is essential.

Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will assist the pharmacy team in ensuring that pharmacy operations run smoothly, patients’ prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and that caring service is provided that exceeds patient expectations. You will also complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, apply your didactic learning to real-world practice, and deepen your understanding of patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review, and pharmacy professional standards. Furthermore, you will contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy and genuine care, follow company SOPs, and support the management and operations within the pharmacy, including following pharmacy workflow procedures and contributing to a safe and inclusive culture.
