Requirements

Candidates should have recently graduated from a pharmacy school with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist. Prior pharmacy experience is not required, but a strong academic foundation in pharmacy principles and practices is essential.

Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will assist the pharmacy team in ensuring that prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while providing caring service to patients. You will also learn to operate as part of the pharmacy team by consistently applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices, and you will contribute to positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy and genuine care. Furthermore, you will participate in training to deepen your understanding of patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review (DUR), and pharmacy professional standards, and you will take on increasing accountability for supporting pharmacy management and operations.
