Responsibilities

Provide warmth, friendliness, and confidence to customers discussing personal health issues
Quickly resolve customer problems and guide them to the right products
Accurately assemble and process prescriptions
Drive awareness of extra pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews)
Support the Pharmacist with delivery and record keeping of patient services (e.g., blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes)
Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures
Collect customer's prescription from doctor's surgery on their behalf and bring it to the store
Complete accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months
Train as a Dispensing Assistant to complete pharmacy training
