Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care to members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, counseling on health care and prescription needs, and maintaining confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
  • Drive sales and profit in Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate/competitive pricing, proper signing, instock/inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, developing cross-functional relationships, and assessing economic trends/demographics
  • Model, enforce, and guide Associates on proper Member service techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within Company standards
  • Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs; encourage Associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensure compliance with Company/legal policies by analyzing/interpreting reports, implementing/monitoring loss prevention/safety controls, overseeing safety/operational/quality reviews, developing action plans, and directing execution of Company programs/strategies
  • Supervise and develop Associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback/recognition, and promoting belonging
  • Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and records per policies and guidelines
