Candidates must hold an unrestricted MD or DO with a Louisiana state license and be board-certified in Pediatrics and/or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics. Enrollment in Louisiana Medicaid is required, along with at least 5 years of post-residency experience managing children with medical complexity. Experience in quality of care, population health, or virtual care is a plus.
The Pediatrician will manage a panel of complex pediatric patients, overseeing care plans and collaborating with other providers for comprehensive care coordination. They will lead a multidisciplinary team in a virtual-first model, acting as the primary physician and face of Imagine Pediatrics in Louisiana. This includes engaging with local medical communities, advocating for home-centered care, and delivering high-quality virtual care such as enrollment visits, sick visits, and post-hospital follow-ups. The role also involves ensuring continuity of care by bridging gaps, coordinating prescriptions, and streamlining referrals, while empowering families and caregivers.
