Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of three years sales experience working with Healthcare Professionals
  • RD or RN with sales experience and technical knowledge (ideal)
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Developing and supporting territory sales goals in offices and hospital systems covering the Abbott Infant and Pediatric Nutrition portfolio
  • Hospital negotiations and contracting, experience working with hospital supply chains
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines
  • Delivering product information effectively in a selling environment
  • Managing new product launches
  • Understanding the hierarchy of office and hospital departments (NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units)
  • Working effectively with Physicians, Dietitians, Nurses, and supply chain
  • Utilizing effective administrative skills and time management
  • Managing budget
  • Functioning independently with initiative, independence, and autonomy
  • Being self-motivated and seeking success in achieving short and long-term goals
