Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of three years sales experience working with Health Care Professionals (ideal)
  • RD (Registered Dietitian) or RN (Registered Nurse) with sales experience and technical knowledge (ideal)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines
  • Understanding of hierarchy in offices and hospital departments (e.g., NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, Nursing units)
  • Ability to work effectively with Physicians, Dietitians, Nurses, and supply chain
  • Effective administrative skills and ability to organize time
  • Ability to function independently with high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy
  • Self-motivated, seeking success in achieving short- and long-term goals
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs to assist with stocking and movement of pediatric products
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Local candidates only for South Florida territory (Miami, West Palm, or Ft. Lauderdale suburbs preferred); relocation not available
  • Willingness to travel 30% overnights

Responsibilities

  • Developing and supporting territory sales goals in offices and hospital systems for Abbott Infant and Pediatric Nutrition portfolio
  • Hospital negotiations and contracting, including experience working with hospital supply chains
  • Delivering product, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines information in a selling environment
  • New product launches
  • Budget management
